Looking up

August 2026, thousands of Londoners climbed Primrose Hill to watch a partial solar eclipse above the city. The sun was low, the light was golden, and glasses, pinhole cards and borrowed viewers were passed around. For a while, a whole hill of strangers looked up at once.
